This is a full training system that includes the most advanced reactive target in the market with a high quality 9mm Red or IR SureStrike laser cartridge for your 9mm pistol. No additional equipment needed.

This system provides immediate feedback by focusing on their draw time, accuracy, reloads and much more. It's completely portable, can fit in any range bag, be used in most environments and proven to enhance every shooter's abilities.

Training with your Single-action firearm, you will get immediate feedback on your first shot. Using a double-action firearm will allow you to track your split and elapse times for up to 6 different shots.

For even more professional training, using an invisible Infrared (IR) laser is highly recommended to insure you are using your sights instead of focusing on your target. This is by far the best training tool to improve your shooting skills.

The LaserPET II comes standard with six training programs including:
• Hit counter, counts the number of consecutive hits
• Shot timer/fast draw, measures how fast you can hit the target in one shot
• Pressured shooting/trigger control, counts the number of hits within a pre-set time slot
• Double tap/reload timer, measures your speed between the 1st and 2nd hit
• Multiple Shot Timer/elapsed time, measure your time between start to multiple hits
• Multiple Shot Timer, split time, measure your split time between consecutive hits

Not perfect, but decent enough to keep

First off, this target is SMALL- but that's a good thing if you actually want to learn accuracy. It's easy to get set up, but keep in mind if you want to hang it on a wall you might have to do like I did and grind a wall hook down to fit into the ridiculously shallow mounting hole. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance. The tripod is great, you can set up just about anywhere on a flat surface with that.My biggest gripe is not with this kit, it's when you want to expand said kit. I wanted to add the 45ACP sleeve to practice with my 1911 and S&W 45, but had to order an entire expansion kit to make it work. (Just adding the sleeve is NOT sufficient, you'll need the whole threaded rod extension kit for it all to work) Having just received that kit today, I anxiously set up one of my 45's only to find... the thing aims a mile off! Due to the simple fact a red dot has to aim down and a picatinny usually has to be aimed upward, the distance you set either for is critical, as you're setting to the intersection of 2 lines of sight- the straight line through the bore, and the up or down angle from the laser/red dot to the point at which these two lines of sight cross- the distance you are zeroing in on. As an exaggerated example, the red dot on top of your handgun is aiming DOWN toward the target at 10 yards, while the bore is aiming straight out to it. If you then aim at a target just 3 yards out, the red dot will not have had the distance required to travel out and low enough, therefore the laser ammo laser will interpret the shot as "too high" and therefore a miss. This simple trait makes up-close practice impossible if you're sighted in with your red dot/laser much further than you're practicing with the laser PET system. I assume if you're both shooting close (live ammo) and practicing close (laser PET) as well, it should be OK for you though. For me, having the 45's sighted in for live fire and the laser pet being used in my hallway at just about 7 yards, the laser simply doesn't "see" the same height as my red dot, therefore I can only practice with iron sights unless I decide to sight in the RDS for just 7 yards to match. Food for thought, your mileage may vary! That being said, the 9mm is by far the easiest setup and so far the most accurate. Just toss the laser into the barrel and fire away. Mucho fun with that one!

Disappointing waste of money!

The SureStrike 9mm Invisible Training Laser (Class I, 3.5mW) only worked for about two weeks. We changed the battery, but it still doesn't work. We tried to return the product, but it was two days past the 30 day return period. The link to the manufacturer website goes to a furniture company, and a product search yields a "no item found" message. As expensive as this product is, I expected a better customer service experience. There are cheaper and better products available.

Broke quickly.

I would have given this a great review.... had it not broken about 2 months after purchase. I enjoyed practicing with the system, but the sure-strike laser module started becoming increasingly fuzzy, then stopped working altogether. I contacted the manufacturer, received an RMA and sent the defective unit back.Maybe it was a defective unit but breaking after 1-2 months of light use is not encouraging. I'll revisit this review if I hear back and they can fix/replace the unit.Update: I've bought 2 SureStrikes, both have had to be sent back....twice. Unfortunately, they are just not durable. Granted, my volume is about 300-500 trigger pulls a day. If you're training less frequently, they may do better for you. Keeping a 2 star rating though because Laser Ammo customer service has been great.

Awesome product with one major flaw. The laser is not centered in cartridge.

Awesome product with one major flaw. The laser is not centered in cartridge. So depending how you insert it, it will be off zero in that direction. The laser needs to come perfectly or at least adjustable. And as a bonus flaw, you can only use this laser, other lasers don't work on the very nice and responsive target.

Weak build

Broke after 200 dry fires. Into the trash it goes.
