The Recover CC3P Grip and Rail System will NOT fit on compact 1911's (if your pistol uses a 7 round magazine or the 8 round magazine does not sit flush with the frame then it is a compact and the CC3P is not compatible), do not purchase this product if you have a compact 1911.

Q. Are the CC3P grips fatter than standard grips?
A. They are not any thicker than standard grips
Q. Will these work on a Commander?
A. These will work on all full sized 1911 frames, ie frames that take 8 round magazines, the Commander frame is a full sized frame with a shorter barrel, therefore it will fit
Q. Are these sturdy enough to handle a light and hold 0?
A. The CC3P will hold 0 with a laser mounted and are even sturdy enough to use in conjunction with an upper rail
Q. I am concerned that these will damage my gun
A. There is no way for these to damage your gun, we use the same glass reinforced polymer that most firearm manufacturers use to make their polymer pistol frames.
